The Beginning.
From what I remember now, at the age of 65, I did not like books in primary school, especially those prescribed in Afrikaans or English. I very vaguely remember one in Dutch Knapsak.
After my childhood conversion at the beginning of 1974 (Std 6/Grade 8), I became a very keen reader of "spiritual" books and used almost all my pocket money to buy them in a Christian bookstore in Worcester.
Because I was exposed to a Pentecostal Church and eventually left my family church, NGK/Dutch Reformed Church, my interest was in why there are so many different churches and religions.
Water and Fire
My first book, I think, was about Adult/Believers' Baptism and the Speaking in Tongues phenomenon (glossolalia). I remember one of them, Die Sakrament in Gedrag by Dr FP Moller (of which I still have an ebook today and in Kindle format on Amazon) and Speaking in Tongues by RA Torrey or Merril - have to check. Of course, throughout my life I collected and read books on these two subjects. Will list them, and/or you can check them on my Goodreads and LibraryThing links.
Biblical Prophecy & The Illuminati
In the following years in high/Secondary school, I even started a course in Bible Study of The Plain Truth (magazine) people, which was known as Armstrongism/British-Israelism, and also corresponded with FWC Neser of the Ekklesia Church on the Lost Tribes of Israel, and reading his books Die Boek van Openbaring (The Book of Revelation). Following this and my 1st Christian friends' involvement in Conspiracy theories, I copied a written document called The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion and was introduced to the "Illuminati theme". This was followed by more local content of books such as Die Vrymesselary by Dr ...van Niekerk..... and an HNP book on them, by Serfontein...and books on The Afrikaner Broederbond. Pelser and Ian? Wilson, Super-Afrikaners, I think.
Naturally, this theme shifted to Biblical prophecy and the Hal Lindsey books, The Late Great Planet Earth, etc. Soon, I got hold of The Dake's Annotated Bible and The Dispensational Truth of Clarence Larkin. Still have these copies today!. This has almost become a lifelong of study and search between the different schools of thought, but I must honestly admit that I have given up on trying to understand or to be convinced of one particular paradigm.
Chariots of the Gods & UFOs
During the latter half of my high school year, I was exposed to Eric von Daniken and his Chariots of the Gods and the UFO story. That fascinated me so much that I bought all his books, but in hindsight still could not believe there was Intelligent life in the Cosmos (Aliens), gods of OT-see my research), Besides, the Christian-Jewish God of the Bible. Oh yeah, all the Reader's Digest books on Ancient Civilizations were on my bookshelf.
Evolution/Creation Controversy
Then in my 1st year of university, I found the famous book by Dr Henry Morris, The Troubled Waters of Evolution, and that was the beginning of an almost lifelong journey with YEC - Young Earth Creationists!. Since then, I bought tons of books and read about the Evolution/Creation controversy from all perspectives till very recently.
Racism, Slavery, Anti-Semitism, Suidlanders, Pyramid of Giza, and KKK
Although I mildly grew up in an apartheid home, I was challenged with the Race question, and even at a stage, joint on paper some ultra-right groups, I still had many questions as a Christian and believing in the Bible. I read Religion and the Racist Right by Michael Barkun in June 2005. I must say, that my exposure to the Creationist (See One Race, One Blood by Ken Ham and A. Charles Ware) group assisted a bit, but my uneasiness with the purpose of nations (Act 17:26), different ethnic groups and cultures was still unresolved and we are now all one in Christ (Gal ) was not enough for me. My later exposure to The Genesis Six Conspiracy by Gary Wayne and Unseen Realm by Dr M Heiser opened my eyes! The research on the human genome is ongoing. See Genetics and Biblical, C. W. Nelson in Perspectives, Page 21, TJ 17(1) 2003
With the relatively recent mapping of the human genome, new questions can be raised concerning potential genetic evidence for Biblical events (specifically demographic events; that is, events affecting population) such as Creation and the global Flood.Evidence for a Mitochondrial Eve.
On my return from Vietnam to South Africa, I was again challenged by living with an ultra-racist family (Roodeplaat Plot), but then started to research the original beginnings and history of Apartheid in South Africa and how the Church used the Bible (like American and others during the slave trade) to justify Apartheid. Some readings include, but not limited to Post-Apartheid Racism in South Africa The Bible, Social Identity and Stereotyping by Jeremy Punt in Religion & Theology 16 (2009) 246–272, D. M. Goldenberg, The Curse of Ham: Race and Slavery in Early Judaism, Christianity, and Islam and The Bible and the justification of apartheid in Reformed circles in the 1940s in South Africa: Some historical, hermeneutical and theological remarks by Vosloo, Robert R in Stellenbosch Teological Journal 2015, Vol 1, No 2, 195–215.
Here is the Abstract of the last-mentioned article:
This article focuses on the way the Bible was used in the 1940s in some Reformed theological circles in South Africa as part of the discourse to justify apartheid. Attention is also given to some voices critical of this endeavour. Th e article therefore off ers a close reading of infl uential texts by prominent theologians who provided a biblical justification of apartheid, such as JD du Toit (Totius) and EP Groenewald. In addition, the article attends to some of the writings of theologians such as BJ Marais and BB Keet, who strongly opposed any attempt to justify apartheid in this manner. The article is especially interested in identifying the constructions of identity and otherness that seem to be operative in the discourse connected to the biblical justifi cation of apartheid during this period.
This last article is a must-read for a person like me, who, only after so many years, wants to understand what was going on in those days with the theologians and the use of the Bible to justify Apartheid.
In short, it was through discovering the Genesis 6 conspiracy (Gary Wayne), the Darwinistic influence of evolution Evolution's Fatal Fruit - How Darwin's Tree of Life brought Death to Millions by Tom DeRosa and the Two Bloodlines of Cain and Seth (Zen Garcia) that my understanding improved of the "War between the two bloodlines" as an aftermath of the Luciferian Fall, Anedevulian Age, and Sons of God development. No wonder Hitler and his Aryan race (more..to write..) had such influence on the young South African history and Apartheid. The funny thing in SA is that we still teach in the schools and universities that we come from the Apes, but people of color made a big scene when Walmart in South Africa was making an advertisement that insinuates it.?
Seeing that Africa and the discoveries of these different fossils of Homo Erectus, Naledi, etc. received worldwide acceptance, I can very much place it in the Pre-Adamic time. (Later, more about this).
Even the passionate work of Michael Tellenger (I have a critical commentary on his approach), Adams Calendar, etc., confirm the existence of more advanced civilizations (Annunaki) that existed here before modern man and that Credu Mutwa stories, together with Legends and Myths (which could all reflect trues) worldwide make space for the general belief of civilization brought here by people (reptilians) from the sky. With my new project of reading all the Lost books, I definitely am connecting the dots and truss out the rubbish that we were taught all the time to conceal this conspiracy.
The Ancient Alien History Channel Series and Sitchin is just confirming all this, but not from the Biblical perspective because they want to replace the true God (and gods) with aliens and try to show us that they were our creator(s). See Michael's debunking site and the analysis of the Sitchin website (Home Page). All this to explain what evolution could not do in finding the missing link and to prepare us for the current and very near future full invasion of the Antichrist (Lucifer and his Angels) and the coverup they had since the beginning in controlling planet Earth and its civilizations because he failed God in pride and did not want Jesus Christ to be in charge of planet Earth.
Islam
In parallel with this, due to working with Muslims, I got involved in the study of Islam. Besides the Qurans, I have many very good books and also some very rare stuff. My work in the Middle East motivated me even more, and research continued, but is mostly now at a standstill. I wrote comments on a SATS MTh thesis - See posting
LGT
With the above, I worked with a lovely gay person, and my interest in this theme kept me very busy as it was also a popular theme in South Africa in politics and Churches.
Alternative Medicine
The Dragon and Ancestral Worship/Veneration
Besides my career-oriented studies in Project- and Change Management, the next big thing happened during my Vietnam career as ESL Teacher in 2019-2020, and after I came back due to COVID and the Lockdown. The family closeness and Ancestral worship in SAE (South East Asia) interested me so much that led me to start writing a book about it. But in this, the dragon theme was core. Why is this so big in Asia (not only them), and how did it end up in the East, and from where?
God was worshiped and the Chinese language - Heavenly altar
Giants, Nephilim, Bloodlines, and One World Government
A friend of mine introduced me to Gary Wayne's book The Genesis 6 Conspiracy, and following the discovery of the god/giants and nephilim in the Bible, I could start to connect the dots!
The Garden of Eden has been found!???
Extra-Biblical Books, Lost Books of the Bible
Today, I am researching why we were never told these things, by the Church at least and I start reading and watching mainly Zen Garcia (and others) videos on YouTube.
Thracian Chronicle is older than Sumerian tables and the Tora genesis does not come from Sumeria, Walton!
Summary
So in brief, I went full circle in picking up all my past experiences and exposure to themes through the books I have read. I think I am coming to a point to determine a lot of things and find answers to a lot of the questions I had. Surely we live in the end times and what is called the Fig Tree generation, as in the days of Noah. If only we could have known what was going on in the days of Noah!. That information we have today, and seeing it unfold right in front of our eyes. At this time, I am more concerned with how we can prepare ourselves and find our peace and rest in God. I do not see that the church is in any way concerned about this, as they are all in bed with the government of the day, and at most being so infiltrated by the New Age and Progressive Christianit,y denying the truth.
Now I will start picking up on preparing for The Great Delusion and preparing myself. and sharing this.
